Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas

Wow! Just wow! From our Arrival till we left - everything has been great, more than great! The super friendly and always helpful Staff, our wonderful Pool Suite, the Food, the Service, the Kindness we felt - whenever someone out of the Staff crossed our way, the whole Hotel Complex - so lovely with Plants just everywhere... This has been an absolutely "jackpot" Trip to wonderful Koh Phangan! And there has been nothing more to ask for! We just loved to be there, felt warmly welcome and more than super cared for! Everything (as in every single thing and every detail) was simply amazing - truly a paradise! The pictures are very accurate. Facilities, food, drinks, staff, pool, and beach were all beyond excellent. The resort is laid out beautifully in a rain forest-style setting on the beach. The villas are spacious, very private and well decorated, there are plenty beach beds and parasols (also around the pools), the service is amazing with good food and drink selection to order on the beach, the restaurants are great and with a good variety, the breakfast is super delicious, and I could go on. We will definitely come back!

Everything.. huge beach frontage, good staff, excellent food and a great bay. Beach villas are amazing in very clever landscaping.

After a rough year, we (a family of three, mom and two 12-year old girls) really looked forward to this holiday. The resort is absolutely fantastic, above expectations. We stayed in a Garden Suite with pool for 11 nights, and moved to Ocean Garden pool suite for the last 3 nights. The Garden suite was beautiful, spacious, with a lush garden and felt very private, in the back row of the resort. The plunge pool was great after a long day at the beach, and the sound of the crickets and frogs as the sun sets is the true sound of Thailand. The Ocean Garden Pool suite at ground floor was stunning, same indoor size and look as the Garden suite, but it has an outdoor shower area, big outdoor daybed and pool facing the sea.Two steps, and you are on the beautiful beach. The beach is quiet, clean and safe. The resort has a welcoming feeling, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and you feel very well taken care of. The lush surroundings, use of wood and details like the fishpond along the boardwalk makes it very authentic, cozy and inviting. The food was excellent (and if you asked for spicy, you get spicy, not tourist-spicy), the staff was very sweet, efficient, and made you feel relaxed. The poolbar made great drinks, and served ice-cold beer (also made mocktails for the kids - Virgin Mai Tai was highly appreciated by the girls). The night before departure one of the girls' precious bunny (a 12-year old bunny!) got lost inside the bedsheets and went away with the laundry. It was a total disaster, but the staff found him - and he was safely returned to my daughter! We will return, and highly recommend staying at Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan :)
